    A long filename created on a SnapOS Server from Windows is truncated to eight characters when viewed from an Apple client.

     

    ---Solution---

     

    This can occur if the filename exceeds 31 characters.  To avoid this problem in a mixed environment, we recommend naming files to 31 characters or less.
