Unable to view Snap Server via Assist or Network Neighborhood/Workgroup.

Version 1

Unable to view Snap Server via Assist or Network Neighborhood/Workgroup.  Have tried resetting IP (1 click) Network (3 clicks) and All settings (4 clicks).  We have link light (solid), system and net lights flashing, with occasional disk light flashing.  What is the default IP if no dhcp can be found (we have DHCP, but we're not seeing DHCP requests comming through).

    ---Solution---

The Snap Server has no default IP address.

Before you attempt the Reset disconnect the Network Cable. When the Snap Server restarts then re-attach the Network Cable.

Try running Assist from another Workstation.

This may also be a case where you should isolate the Snap Server off the Network to attempt re-assigning an IP address.

Your setup should be the Snap Server, a Hub and a Workstation that has a static IP address. Or, the Snap Server, Crossover Cable and Workstation that has a static IP address.
