    - Snap Disk 10
    - Snap Disk 30

This information applies to the following Operating System(s):
    - Windows 2000
    - Windows XP  ---Solution--- The workaround for this issue is to disable the Office plug-in that comes with the Norton 2005 software. Disabling 'Auto-protect' does not help nor does creating an exclusion for *.doc files.

    1. Start by opening the Norton console and clicking on 'Options'.
    2. Once you've click on options click on 'Miscellaneous' underneath the 'Other' box.
    3. Uncheck the box for enabling the Microsoft plug-in.

Once this process has been followed Norton will no longer set Office documents to RO or Hidden. The change should be immediate but it is always possible a reboot of the client PC would be required or perhaps breaking any current connections to the
Snap Server. Norton 2005 does not cause these issues with the Snap OS.
