DataKeeper continues to back up files from the C:\ drive even after this drive has been completely deselected.

Version 1

DataKeeper continues to back up files from the C:\ drive even after this drive has been completely deselected.

This information applies to: Windows Millennium Edition (ME), Windows 9x, Windows XP, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows NT 3.51, Windows NT 3.5

    ---Solution---

To work around this issue, use a plain text editor (such as Windows Notepad) to open DataKeeper's .dks file, and then delete all references to files or directories on C:\ from the "Deselected directories/files" list.

In Windows XP, the .dks file is located in: \Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Application Data\DataKeeper (For example, if DataKeeper was installed under the Administrator account, the path to the .dks file would look similar to the following: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\DataKeeper\BackUp Specification-new.dks.)
