The SnapServer does not shut down when the power button is pressed

    The SnapServer doesn't shut down when the power button is pressed.  Network and drive lights are active.<br><br><b>This information applies to the following Product(s):</b><br>

    ---Solution---

     

    <ol>
    <li>Press and hold the power button for 3-8 seconds and then release. The unit should shut down itself.</li>
    <li>You can go to the Web console.

     

    LINK NOT VALID

     

    Go to http:\\\snap_ip_address\config\debug.

     

    Type in "power off 5" and press ok. The drive will then be shut down in 5 seconds.</li>
    <li>If it still won't shut down, pull the power cord and wait 1 minute before plugging it back in and try to power up then.</li>
    <li>In case the problem persists, contact Adaptec Technical Support for futher troubleshooting.</li>
