To check the ACL's on a file or folder from SSH:
-Open an SSH Session
-Run the Command "osshell"
-Run the Command "su -"
--Enter the admin password when prompted for a password. This will fail if the password has never been changed.
-Run the Command "snacltool -rv /shares/SHARE1/sysfiles.tgz"
This will get the ACL's on "sysfiles.tgz" file located in SHARE1. This can be useful if a customer is experiencing unexpected behavior when attempting to access files via Samba.
