I have a fibre channel environment.  What is the difference between SC and LC?

    Solution: Simplex Connector (SC) and Lucent Connector (LC) are types of connectors commonly used in a fibre channel environment.

    You will frequently find two SC connectors clipped together to form a duplex SC connector. SC connectors are primarily found in 1 GB environments.

    LC connectors are rectangular in shape, keyed, and have a locking mechanism. LC connectors are primarily found in 2 GB environments.
